The things we want to say, but often don’t.

Memorial audio, birthday greetings, audio guestbooks. A custom, storytelling experience for the people you love the most.

Memorial audio honors the narrative experise of Tinka Media, to build unforgettable, intimate audio experiences.

I collaborate with families and organisations who want to create a piece of oral history to honor the people who walked the path. Or celebrate the people who rarely hear the words. Through voice recording, we give depth to your stories that last for generations to come.

We produce stories in: 🇬🇧 English, 🇫🇷 Français, 🇸🇪 Svenska

Anniversary gift

A beautiful melody of your closest people share their best ideas. The best birthday gifts are memories.

For their wedding anniversary, the family wanted to offer something special, an audio guestbook celebrating love and the couple, where guests were prompted to tell stories about love”

The choir had been a pillar for Scandinavian songs in Zürich for over 40 years. At its celebration party some of the voices and memories were captured there”

Milestone birthday podcast

A beautiful melody of your closest people share their best ideas. The best birthday gifts are memories.

Pierre’s wife wanted to create a special gift for him, especially since he love podcasts. Since many of his friends and family lives in different parts of the world, she decided to collect 30 voices of friends and family, based on prompts that we developed. From there we built out a podcast that was just as goofy as Pierre, hosted by his wife and two children”

Three kids came together to create a special gift for their mom’s 70 year birthday. They decided to ask for birthday greetings from friends all from her life - from middle school friends, to collagues, family members and high school sweethearts. All three helped tell the story of their mom, through the lens of the people that love her.”

Family history audio

high-end, custom-made audio memoir, where the client narrates their life story over several hours,

A family came together wanting to memorize the life story of the family migration from Tuscany in Italy to Nice, France.”

“A granddaughter gave her grandpa a memoir project as a christmas gift when he turned 78 years old. Tracing the roots of Sweden during the industrialization, a family that finds its own way in a changing country. The series was a gift for the whole family.”

The power of voice.

We often document our trace of time in books, notes and scribbels. A guestbook. But the voices evoke a unique sense of connection that builds a special moment for everyone involved.

The Approach

In order to capture and tell your story, we work with a tested narrative approach to unleash the stories that are usually untold. People often ask me how create the stories. Here is a glimpse into my process, and the process I guide my clients of memorial audio through.

Vivid scenes

Audio works best with descriptive scenes, since it activated the “theatre of the mind”, and makes the experience even more connective. That’s why I work with scenes with great detail.

Details

The ordinary becomes extraordinary. By adding details, the fabric of the story thickens, and it reaches deeper. So rather than sweeping statements, we want to get to the “nuts and bults” of what happened, how it looked.

It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.

“How did it make you feel?”

“Tell me about one memory that you can’t forget.”

“Why do you think it happened that way?”

“What would you tell the 20 year old you?”
